Information Lifecycle Support

Most organizations hold vast quantities of data that can be turned into useful information. Much of this data is unstructured and in order to benefit fully from the information available to it, an organization must manage its data resource. Wisdom, knowledge, information and data management (WKIDM) is responsible for this.

The purpose of this guide is to aid a consistent understanding of WKIDM, help organizations to use it coherently and in support of business objectives and provide a tangible view of how each component works.

This guide is designed to help those dealing with issues such as piecemeal document management, out-of-date records and sources of information.
