Run Romi Run

Unruly, restless and impulsive, all of thirteen years, Romi is the hero of his world. And sharing his great affinity for adventure and unknown are his three friends:--the rascal Sukhi, the deadpan Sunny and the naïve Golu. There is never a dull moment for the four, in school or in the maidan where most of their life is spent battling for their dream-Lifting of the Eagle, annual inter-school cricket cup.

Set in the laidback and idyllic town of Mauji, Run Romi Run is the story of Romi’s journey from a spirited reckless town boy to a disciplined young man. A poignant tale of loss and triumph, this book is a reminder of the unaffected dreams of childhood and the lost child in all of us.
