Women Of Pure Wonder, 3/e

Women of Pure Wonder: Vision, Valour, Victory salutes the journeys and struggles of fifty extraordinary women from different walks of life, living across the country ? from metros to villages situated in the heart of India. These extraordinary women have overcome social taboos, defied norms, and risen as leaders in socio-economic and personal spheres. They have empowered and inspired not only themselves, but the world around them. An amputee who scales mountains and a victim of child sexual abuse who set up a foundation to help others recover. A documentary film-maker who started a community radio to address farmers issues in a village and an international paraplegic athlete who also runs a driving school. This book is a work of passion and compassion, put together by a team led by women, for women, and featuring women.
